summer love.

it's the first day of summer, its about 95 degrees in brooklyn (!), and i just booked me a ticket to my hometown. i am way excited, to say the least:

we'll make these babies (so gorgeous + inventive)..

i'll wear my new bikini (it's about time - my other one was pretty sad) with a floppy hat and major sunscreen..

and there will be loads of space to relax, enjoy my momma (maybe get some knitting tips from the master?), and lazy about with my lovely fiance reading novels in those funny floats.

i'm also pretty grateful to be back on the east coast for most of the season (san francisco's 'summer' was a bit traumatic) and can't wait to play locally.. think storm king, a visit to coney island, the north fork, outdoor summer concerts, fort tilden beach time, maybe a long bike trip or two with my love to governer's island or bear mountain? if you want to join or have any suggestions for local adventures, please send them my way!
